High-speed water jets are used to hydraulically entangle various fibers to form a strong absorbent web. Unlike many nonwoven fabrics, Sontara® uses no binders, chemicals or adhesives. It has exceptional mechanical strength, excellent absorbency, and because the fibers are washed during fabric formation, it exhibits very low lint. These unique features make Sontara® ideal for the cleaning requirements of the quality-conscious user.

Sontara EC: Engineered tough for better performance
Description: DuPont Sontara EC wipes are more versatile than cloth rags, stronger and more durable than paper and less expensive in use than both because last longer which means fewer wipes per task. The “spunlacing” technology makes DuPont Sontara EC, tough, durable and resistant to abrasion and solvents. It contains no binders or glues and is highly absorbent in water, oil and solvent.
Application area: Ideal in screen printing, manufacturing environment, maintenance and any application when solvent is used.
