The German company LUTHER & MAELZER is the leader for state of the art electrical testing of printed circuit boards. High throughput, fine pitch, high reliability and highest uptime are basis of each single LUTHER & MAELZER equipment.

Suppling since years universal grid testers, the LUTHER & MAELZER know how since the first generation of testers allows the end user to benefit daily of the fastest equipment available on the market with top class technology.

Every years, more than 450 million of printed circuit boards are tested by LUTHER & MAELZER worldwide.

Well, seems a high number but quiet logical if you consider that with a testing rate of up to 1 500 panels per hour for the semi-vertical LM 100/10A tester, approximately 900 panels per hour for the Picomat series or up to 700 panels per hour for the Megamat, the counter has to follow !

Today's, LUTHER & MAELZER know how allows users to select different grid size depending on their application  :

100 mils

70 mils

50 mils

Several fixture building technology are available : CAF (nowadays not recommended anymore), HD and the latest generation FP allowing with minimum pin diameter of  0,15 mm to daily test very high density printed circuit boards such as last generation of mobile phone boards.

Since 2000, LUTHER & MAELZER introduce on the market his own made Flying probe testers to supply an answer to the industry demand.

After all, as a major player in the electrical test area, only LUTHER & MAELZER can offer a global philosophy in the printed circuit board electrical testing which includes  :

  • ADAM & CAR software internally developed and only software available on the market able to explore the huge potential of  LUTHER & MALZER bare boards testers,
