The manufacturing technology of Printed Circuit Boards is in constant evolution and new processes are implemented :

• SBU technologie,
• Plug In Process.

Those processes requires a very strong brushing operation to remove either the build up resin on the panel or the removal of extra hole blocking resin. Common brushes are not compatible with this process because they are not not rigid enough for this type of grinding application.

PSE developed a specific brush for generic brushing machines with 125, 140 and 150 mm brushes diameter (equipment with 90 mm brushes usually are not rigid enough to provide a good grinding result).

 PSE SSW brush for SBU technology provide :

• An equal roughness over the complete brush life time,
• An equal and defined grinding result,
• An exact true running during the entire operation term,
• No unbalanced, therefore no stress for the equipment bearings,
• A very long service life by special composition of the brush.
